1. Subscribed to MTN’s BlackBerry Service -> After stressfully subscribing at 40 cedis a month for the service which was made up of internet service and push mails (who cares), I was being double charged anytime I went online with my BB which was so not cool at all, switched back to my ‘wonderful world’.

1. Skipped lectures -> What can I say, I am simply a truant who loves his job a little too much!

1. Wet my MacBook keyboard -> Hmmmm, long story, not the kinda wet u thinking about though!

1. Skipped Barcamp -> Got a paper on that day, hurts me bad.

1. Spent the money for my phpCert -> :( used that money to get my BlackBerry

1. Slept a lot -> No reason, pure laziness

1. Bought a magazine at phparch.com -> Bought the magazine in October, still waiting for them to allow me to download it, they are still doing fraud checks, oo chale.

1. Shared my Snow Leopard Disc -> After getting my SL fresh, I decided to share it with some friends who needed it, after so many weeks of going through many peoples’ CD drives, it came back so scratched I could not use it anymore, hence am no more sharing my discs, if u need a copy of something, bring a disc to burn it.

1. Broke my lens several times -> Sat on it, threw it around, tried breaking it to test its durability (failed cos i broke :) )

1. Bought second hand Nokia N95 -> Screen broke, would cost me 80 cedis to change it, so I ignored it and bought a BlackBerry Storm

Movies at Accra Mall

Another Thursday is here and am trying to pick a movie to watch at the mall this weekend (friday night), so I head over to the mall’s website to check the movies out.

Surprisingly the running times I find for the movie am interested in is in the past (previous month). As if that was not enough, the title bar for the pop up of the current movie I clicked was showing that of a different movie. The running times am guessing could definitely be as a result of silverbird not providing the schedule on time, but the title bar issue most certainly is that of the webmaster.

I ignore all this and assume they have not had enough time yet (!!!!!!!) to update those individual pages so I decide to try out this link below on their site:

And because of what I have been through, I was not surprised by the response:

So, am about to go pay watch a movie (these days, you get to watch about 20 irrelevant ads before the movie start so please don’t bother to be on time) am not so sure of. I would take ma chances.

By the way, I could help update just the movie site if am gonna be getting free tickets once in a week (what do u think Silver bird?).
